Prince of Wales Edward VIII visited Nepal 13-21 Dec 1921. During a shoot in the Chitwan Np, they shot 9 rhino. On 18 Dec 1921 the Maharajah of Nepal presented a collection of animals to the prince. These animals arrived in Bombay on 10 Jan 1922 where they were temporarily housed in the Victoria Gardens. The animals arrived in London on 7 April 1922. It included a calf Rhinoceros unicornis of which a photo while in Bombay was published.
