Text headed PINOKEROC in quasi-greek style, reads: “An Exact Figure of the Rhinoceros That is now to be seen in London. Inscrib’d to Humffreyes Cole Esq. Chief of the Hon.ble East India Company’s Factory at Patna, in the Empire of the Great Mogul, for the Favour he has done the Curious in sending it over to England.” Published October 10, 1739.
