Large Meissen porcelain sculpture

This large Meissen porcelain sculpture was created by Johann Gottlob Kirchner (b.1706). One of a pair found in the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen, Dresden The motif was inspired from a 1583 engraving by Abraham de Bryn.
