The rhinoceros is enormous in size, it came from a wandering menagerie and was taken around Europe for eleven years in a very small cage. When it arrived in the zoo, the poor animal could hardly move, and it took several weeks until it walked correctly, and several month until it went into a pond. Nowadays it spends most of the day in the pond, only moving its head every 40 seconds to breathe.
