Ceratotherium simum cottoni does not exist in de Ouaka [CAR], but I am certain that it ocurs at the border between Oubangui and the Sudan. It was seen in Sudan by Brocklehurst.

The rhinos having been hunted around Fort Archambault and Ndele, is now found more to the south-east towards the Koukourou (Moroubas-Ippy), as told by the people living in that area.

Within the Ouaka the black rhino only exists in the northern regions (Ippy-Moroubas) en seems not to occur outside the Chari valley.
