The 30 years old female rhino -which horn was plucked by the poachers-succumbed to death on last Friday (13th February 2009) after 15 days of incident. According to the CNP officials, the rhino died of wound as medical persons failed to take out a bullet embedded inside its neck. CNP had deployed the medical team round the clock but not enough to save the endangered pachyderm. Contributed by Deepak Acharya.
