Mounted specimen of Sumatran rhinoceros in the Sabah Museum, Kota Kinabalu. The Linbar rhinoceros was captured on 25 march 1987 in a small forest near the Linbar estate, 100 km from Lahad Datu. The animal was a very aggressive male. It ided 12 hours after capture. Height at shoulder 1.3 m, horn length 16 cm. The horns on the animal shown are replica casts.
