
Black rhinoceros with long horns shot when the novelist Georgette Heyer (1902-1974) was living for a year in a hunting camp in Karagwe, Southern Uganda. Her husband George Ronald Rougier (1900-1976) was stationed there as a mining engineer in 1927-1928.
