
A late copy of the 1515 woodcut of the Lisbon Rhinoceros by Albrecht Dürer. This was produced in Antwerp by Jan Liefrinck (1518-1573). There is a text in French of 5 lines, fllowed by the name: “Imprimé en Anvers par Iean Liefrinck.” There is no date with the monogram AD. Size 225 x 308 mm.
This is the copy in the British Museum, London, 1928.0310.98 which has surrounded by impressions of inked leaves and flowers. c.1550.
