This is a later edition of the rhinoceros and elephants by A. Collaert’s Animalium Quadrupedum that probably dates around 1630. This is the original plate, but the elephant hunt in the background is wearing down from use. Below Collaert’s name has been removed, probably by another editor and there is an inverted number four above the stump.
