From August 28 to September 9 2023, at Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia in Trieste there is a new exhibition event, “Ice Age – The Giants of the Ice Age”. Stars of the exhibition are represented by the woolly rhinoceros, Coelodonta antiquitatis (Blumenbach) and the original skeleton of a mammoth, Mammutus primigenius (Blumenbach), 3 meters high and 5 long, nicknamed Otto. In addition to Otto, Coelodonta also accompanies a steppe bison, Bison priscus Bojanus, and a giant deer, Megaloceros giganteus (Blumenbach). This is the Trieste 2023 Eis Age exhibition poster.
