The rhinoceros horns arerather large because one can make four to six handles of swords from them.. They are sold as a piece, to make handles. An unworked piece sells for a toile, but when it is worked, it can cost three to four talaris. The entire horn has less value and never sells for more than a talari.

There are several species of rhinoceros in Abyssinia. There are those with 2, 3 or 4 horns, that is certian, but it is not so sure that there are some with 5 or 6 horns as people say.
