Ban Kao is in West Central Thailand, on the river Kwae Noi. Excavation of neolothic site, 1800-1500 BC. Found 2nd phalanx of side toe, in Burial BK.I.B.1 and fragment of upper molar, in Burial BK.I. B.17. Allocated to Rhinoceros sp. They may have been hunted in the neolithic period since bone fragments are rather common in the material.
