Times of India, 21 June 1887. The Maharajah of Kuch Behar sent some trophies to Mr Rowland Ward, naturalist, of Piccadilly, to be preserved and mounted. Among these are two heads of the rhinoceros. The rhino being abundant in the territory of the Maharajah, Mr Rowland Ward has not only made excellent models of two heads, but made their skins into a variety of artistic articles as notable for their beauty as for the unique material of which they are made.
