[105] Bhimbetka. Only one drawing of rhinoceros has been recorded (shelter F-35/b) though it is represented in several shelters on the nearby hill of Lakha Juar. Animal is surrounded by 6 hunters holding long spears tipped with microliths. Painted in transparent dark red colour and decorative natural style and belongs to phase B.

Raisen dt. Rockshelters known as Putli Karar are located near the village of Narwar on the Sagar-Bhopal road. Animals represented include rhinoceros. A strange object is an animal with boar and rhino characteristics and flayed animal skins suspended from poles.
