Details: the catalogue concerns the Robert V. Nemecek oil-painting exhibition hold in Bratislava from June 26 to September 30, 2014 as well as the second one – titled “Quarta Dimensione” [“The Fourth Dimension”] – helding in Rome at the Slovakian Institute (Slovakian Embassy) from March 5 to April 11, 2015. All the Nemecek paintings are replicas of a great amount of very famous rock art paintings discovered in Spain, France, Africa as well as in other world areas throughout the time. The “woolly rhino” Coelodonta antiquitatis (Blumenbach, 1799) is represented here by the specimen from the Grotte Chauvet (Ardèche, France). Two other very famous rhinoceros rock paintings – those from Tsodilo Hills (Botswana) and from Twyfelfontain (Namibia) – are also present in the Nemecek repertory.
