- prehistoric site at Charand. Rhino inhabited Saran Dt, ca. 1700 BC. Neolithic site excavated by Dept. of Archaeology in 1972-73. There were 4 fragments of bone foiund: (1) one complete humerus; (2) fragment of upper molar tooth; (3) left tibia without proximal and distal epiphysis; (4) one proximal fragment of ulna with semi-lunar notch and broken olecranon process.
