Toes, three to the hinder; three, rarely four to the fore feet, not forked: teeth, cutting and grinders, sometimes canine: stomach simple, or two-lobed. Fam. 1: Rhynocerotidae [sic] - Nose short, rounded, bones very thick, bearing a horn formed of agglutinated hair: toes three to each foot; stomach simple; intestines and caecum large.
