The Natal Parks Board rejected the SABC (South African TV) news items of 10 June 1997 implying that the board was involved in illegal activities involving rhino horns. The board has a stockpile of rhino horn collected from naturally dead animals, considerably less than the 60.000 claimed in the broadcast.
