In 1993, 1/3 black rhino were brought from Kruger NP, and another male from Natal. In 1995, 2/3 plus a calf were brought and released in Dec 1995.

Black rhino was extinct in Kruger in 1936. They were reintroduced in 1971. In 1996, about 250 black rhino in Kruger.
