Lisbon’s three-horned black rhinoceros

The naturalist and author Abel Chapman in his `Retrospect, 1851-1928' (London, 1928) gave two pictures of a three horned black rhino, one (p.77) a drawing stating that it was shot at Elementeita in British East Africa on 10 Feb 1906, the other a photograph of Chapman himself with the animal's severed head (plate X).
