This is a 1958 edition of this popular boy's adventure book by Emilio Salgari (1862-1911). It is no. 39 in this series published in Bologna. The first pages are part of chapter 1: L'assassinio. The rhinoceros is found in the original chapter 8: Una notte terribile, here printed on pp. 38-42 without a chapter title. There iare 5 colour plates as well as the colour frontocover, without name of the artist. The plate p.85 shows a rhinoceros, title: "Un rinoceronte - esclamo con un filo di voce - Siamo perduti!"
