Zoological Institute, USA, 1835. The American Antiquarian Society has in its collection an 1835 woodcut poster of the Zoological institute. The central illustration shows the Institute's Great indian rhino in what appears to be a stout shipping cage mounted on a heavy dray and drawn by a six-horse Conestoga team.
