RHINOCEROS cornu, quod in naribus habet, exacuit & limat ad petram, cùm pugnam initurus est cum elephante, cujus alvum, quam scit se acuto cornu penetrare posse pugnans praecipuè petit, & in hac corporis parte Elephantem vulneratum occidit. In numismate addita sunt haec verba, ex Catulli carmine defumpta:
