Rhinoceros bicornis is rare in the Ouaka, but that seems to me dependant on climatalogical conditions or habitat rather than on the hunting which is being done. It does not extend southwards below 7 degrees north, i.e. in the valley of the Chari, with some incursions into the regions of the sources of the Ouaka and its tributaries.
