Amblyomma rhinocerotis (De Geer, 1778) was only found once in 1981, in the Parc de Saint Floris at Gordil [9.32 N, 21.50 E] on a body of Diceros bicornis.

Hyalomma marginatum rufipes Koch, 1844
It was only found in adult male stage on cattle in Bangui and on rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis) in parc Saint Floris (Gordil).
