Tsodilo rhinoceroses (Botswana)

Three African rhinoceroses engraved on the rock at Tsodilo Hills (Northwestern Botswana). This picture represents one of the 4,500 rock paintings found at Tsodilo Hills, an area of approximately 10 km² within the Kalahari Desert (Northwestern Botswana). Recognised as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a site of a unique religious and spiritual significance to San, the local people. The age of the paintings could date back to 24-20,000 years BP.
