Photograph taken by Pierre Bazin on 14 March 1957 on the Lima Blas Palm estate, Slim River, Perak, Malaysia. It was suspected at the time to be a remarkable picture of a Javan rhinoceros. Afterwards most people came to the conclusion that it was a Sumatran rhino. See also Grzimek, 1957, p.119.
