This broadsheet dates from the later years of Clara’s travels throughout Europe before she died in 1758. Little is known about Clara after 1752, but what is unique about this print is the animal’s long horn and that Capt. Douwe Mout’s image in the medallion below has been replaced with an image of a ship meant to be the Knappenhof. For the first time the captain is not mentioned in any of the texts. It is possible that Douwe Mout is no longer present in the travels.
