J. Hulett (active 1740-1771) from ‘The Beauties of Nature & Art displayed, in a tour through the World’, 2nd edition. Printed by G. Robinson in Pater-Noster Row, London; vol.8, p. 193. First edition probably in 1750. This print is significant as a deviant from the traditional Dürer model followed by french editors since Michael Herr, 1546, Strasbourg. It depicts the animal as similar to a pig with a scale like torso and hoove feet.
