Georg August Goldfuss (1782-1848) was a German zoologist and professor at Bonn Univ. This image of the Indian rhino, which bears some resemblance to the print by A. Gabler in Johann Wolf’s ‘Das einhornige Nashorn’ (1817), was published from 1824 to 1842.
