An ad in the Daily Ohio Statesman of Columbus, Ohio from April 19th, 1849 announcing a one day show of the traveling menagerie of Raymond & Driesbach of New London, CT. The Asiatic rhino of undetermined sex, arrived the previous year and was thought to have died five years later. It was thought to be the only rhino in the country at this time.
