The middle figure is a skull of Indian rhino belonging to Capt. Fortescue who killed the animal on the Bhutan side of the river Tista. The upper figure is a Javan rhino from the Bengal Sundarbans, the lower figure a Javan rhino from Java, both preserved in the Museum of the Asiatic Society of Bengal. From Blyth, 1862 pl. 1.
