Clemente Onelli feeding a young black rhinoceros. This was taken in Buenos Aires Zoo in 1908. Clemente Onelli (1864-1924) was director of the zoological gardens from 1904 to 1924.
There is no record of a black rhino in Buenos Aires prior to 1938. It is likely that further details may be forthcoming.
