Black rhinoceros at San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park

Sally (F) arrived at the zoo from Kenya in 1952. Barney (M) was imported from East Africa in 1953. Sally became a long term resident for 33 years but Barney lived at the zoo only until 1968.
