Black rhinoceros (male ‘Mtoto’) caught by Lutz Heck between Lake Manyara and Lake Eyazi in northern Yanzania in January 1928. It arrived in the Berlin Zoo on 20 May 1928 and was exhibited until 23 December 1943. From L. Heck, Aus der Wildnis in der Zoo, 1930.
