Andalas, the first Sumatran Rhino born in captivity (at Cincinnati zoo) in the last century. Here he is in a mud wallow in his new home at the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary (SRS), one of the Captive Breeding programs mainly funded by the IRF. Andalas was moved here in Februari 2007 after 6 years in the American Zoo. Now a year later Andalas is getting used to his forest environment and is almost ready to mate with Ratu. The SRS is located in Way Kambas National Park, Sumatra.
