A new young black rhino in Artis, the zoo in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. From newspaper AMSTELBODE 9 May 1931. This young black rhino was caught in Deecemner 1930 between Lake Manyara and Mount Meru in the northern part of Tanganyika (Tanzania). Deposited by the animal dealer Christoph Schulz, lived later in Chicago Brookfield 1934-1943 and Milwaukee 1943 to 1957.
