A popular photo spot is “Helmut—the Spohle Rhinoceros,” which was donated to the municipality of Wiefelstede (Ammerland, Lower Saxony, Germany) by Christian Dieluweit, a metal dealer from Varel. Helmut has been gracing the corner of Wiefelsteder Straße and Torfweg in Spohle for over 10 years. The rust-brown giant was forged by Diedel Klöver, a scrap metal artist from Rallenbüsche, and since its unveiling in September 2013, Helmut has been cherished and cared for by the Spohle community organizations.
