The presence of a rhinoceros was recorded for Vienna both in 1750 and 1751 by Fitzinger (source 5851). No further evidence has been found for the visit in 1750.

English translation

It was a female rhinoceros, brought by a Dutchman, and shown in 1749 in Paris, and also from 1750 to 1751 in Vienna.
