The newspaper on 12 October 1743 had an advertisement that the rhinoceros was still exhibited on the Leydsche Plein, and would leave on Thursday 16 October 1743 (source 2101). It was also recorded in Amsterdam as part of a longer journey before 1747 (source 2102).

It was announced to all Gentlemen and Enthusiasts that until next Thursday, October 17, at Amsterdam’s Leydse Plein, a living Rhinoceros will be on display, captured in the area of the Great Mogul in the countryside of Assem, and landed from Bengal to Holland, the like of which has never been seen here before.
