Werd bekent gemaekt aen alle Heeren en Liefhebbers dat binnen de stad Amsterd., in een Schip is te zien een levendige Rhinoceros; in ‘t gebied van den Grooten Mogol gevangen, in ‘t landschap Assem, en uyt Bengalen in Holland aengeland, wiens weerga nooit bevorens hier is geweest: dit voorn. Beest is 3 jaren oud, en wel 3500 pond zwaer, leggende op den Amstel by de Halvemaensbrug. En zal in ‘t laetst van deeze week vertrekken.

English translation
