The Italian text at the bottom speaks about this fable: "La notte nera del marchese Ermanno Seborga-Sonego processato e condannato a morte dai rinoceronti da lui uccisi in gioventù, quindi graziato per intercessione di Santa Rita la quale ebbe poi a pentirsene amaramente. Anno 1001".
