Description: "The hige body of the rhinoceros toppled over on to our raft". Drawing to illustrate an elephant and rhino hunting expedition in Burma (Myanmar) in the 1870s. The figure of the rhino is dark and ill-defined, maybe to obscure which species it could have been. Figure on p.196 in Pollok, F.T., 1901. A disastrous trip. Wide World Magazine 8: 192-197
