This is a great resource, the first portal for all older zoological literature, as stated all with free and open access to all users. The RRC is of course much indebted to all people involved in this great project which will of course be ongoing for many more years. No research in natural history these days could ever be complete without the help of BHL which combines resources of many great libraries around the world, all accessible from our own homes and offices. Thank you BHL.

Our work is focused on the mechanisms and functions of evolutionary adaptations that ensure the survival and reproduction of individuals in free-ranging and captive populations of wildlife, and the limits that may affect the viability and persistence of such populations. For this purpose, we study the behavioural and evolutionary ecology, wildlife diseases, and reproduction of mostly larger mammals and birds.
