| The colour varies from black to brown-red. Female in San Diego (arr. 1988) had a remarkably red colour. Male in Cincinnati (Ipoh) is black on back and sides. In Sungei Dusun Breeding Centre there is a female with remarkably black hairs. Animals in the Centre in Sabah were dark brown. |
