One can conclude that the northern border of the rhinoceros' distribution was ?Hua' from the record in Jiaguwen of Shang Dynasty, that indicated how many (normally 5-6, sometimes 11 or 12 to 16) were captured at several places north of Huang River and south of Tai Hang Mountains.

The birth of Teja, an Indian rhino born in Planckendael, Belgium on 15 Nov 1992 was recorded on Betacam-video material by Videohuis EVS from Sint-Niklaas. These are the first video prints of the birth of an Indian rhino (in 1980 the zoo in basel made movie). This video had great educational value.
