p.158 Rundheer (or Randhir) Singh was one of the zamindars of the Pratapgarh District (now U.P.). He had a fight with Mangal Parshad of Sultanpur, who afterwards appealed to the rulers in Lucknow, causing him to flee across the border into British territory where he wandered around under the guise of a merchant. After his arrest in 1852, he was kept in confinement in Lucknow until 1856. Kunwar Randhir Singh, son of Rai PRITHIPAL SINGH, Rai of Raipur Bichaur 1818/1866, married and had issue. He died 1866.
