This is the 14th issue of the quarterly e-newsletter of the Rhino Resource Centre (RRC).

FORTHCOMING MEETINGS

The annual Rhino May Day is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 29 April 2009. The venue is again the lecture hall at the Zoological Society of London. There is a great list of speakers and it promises again to be a day full of information about rhino conservation, with a chance to meet hundreds of others interested in these animals. There is more information on the SRI website.

The International Rhino Keeper Association has scheduled its new workshop for May 17th - 21st, 2009 at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. There will be many interesting presentations and workshops geared to active participation of all delegates. More information is found on their website.

NEW LITERATURE

In the past quarter (November 2008 to January 2009), we have added 70 new references. This brings the total number of items in the database to 12.601.

Below I have listed new entries published since 2000 in four catagories: General, African rhinos, Asian rhinos and Fossil species. If you are interested in one of these titles, always check the RRC website first.
