Ejaculate volumes are high in rhinoceroses. The low volumes in white rhinoceroses have resulted from incomplete ejaculation in these animals. The highest sperm counts were from an Indian rhinoceros, but these values resulted from sperm-rich samples resulting from the ejaculation of a highly conditioned animal.
